Overspray

Overspray is offered once. When it sells, the work is retired—no reprints, no second edition, no return to the catalog.

A cloud built from collision: red, lime, hot pink, cyan, and yellow circles overlap until the center burns magenta, all held inside a thick, textured cobalt rim. The bottom edge is a solid band of deep blue—paint as architecture—then the color lets go. Drips fall in vertical runs, mostly blue, with shorter hits of orange, yellow, and pink in the mist; one long red streak on the left drops farther than the rest, like a fault line in the weather.

The surface reads spray-first: stipple, overspray halo, grain where the can lingered. On white ground, nothing competes—the form is graphic, immediate, and unapologetically urban. It is not a scene; it is an event frozen after the last pass of the cap.
